ODM to Celebrate 20 Years with Three-Day Anniversary in Mombasa

 

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), led by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, has announced plans to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a three-day event in Mombasa between October 10 and 12, 2025.

 According to Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, the celebrations will highlight “two decades of resilience, sacrifice, and unyielding commitment to democracy, justice, and the people of Kenya.”

 Activities lined up include a Youth Summit for young leaders, a Women Convention recognizing women’s role in democratic struggles, and a Youth Concert showcasing creativity within the Orange Movement.

 ODM says the anniversary will not only celebrate the party’s history but also provide a platform for reflection on its role in shaping Kenya’s political landscape.
